Went for a 2.5 hour ride today.
Then when got home I plowed my yard.
We can see me and my iPatatoe in the mirror.

Did a 100 kilometre rally across some really nice and some really shitty trails. I hurt.

Lies, snowmobiles have wheels! They just don’t contact the ground!

I miss blasting across the ice near my camp in Maine. But then I remember I only like winter in small doses.

I did about 100 Kms today. I’m 7 km from the club trails, so I tried a new route today

At night we hear revving from everywhere in woods.

That might get annoying...

I used to ride my Polaris 700 to work across a lake; man that was a fun commute. When the lake was smooth I could really max it out up to about 100mph on the 2 mile straight stretch.

That is stupid fast
I can get mine up up to 115 km/h and it’s scary. I don’t even want to try 100mph

It’s different on a wide open lake, when you know there aren’t any surprises. It’s like a salt flat. But yeah, 100 is kinda nuts on one of those. The power is just so tempting, so satisfying. Snowmobiles are a blast.

Over here there are just as much surprises on the lakes. Bumps everywhere.
When I first got my Yamaha venture mp i took is out on the lake and hit a bump at 110 and got some air.

The lake can definitely be dangerous mid-winter. The stretch I rode wasn’t among the worst.

I once got 1990 Artic Cat long track super Jag to 100 kph, & hit a bump. What I learned:
- how the hell can a long track jag go that fast.
-skinny width front skis make or sketchy at that speed.
- long track jags are not made for jumps, it all went to my spine.
